Avoid the Chicken Littles

Do you know who I mean? I'm talking about the people that always tell you you can't do it, that it's too risky, that it's not worth it. I heard this term in Robert Kiyosaki's phenomenal book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". I will be referencing him a lot in this blog. His book really opened my eyes.

Now think about those people that tell you to you're crazy when you bring up a business or investing idea; or when you decide to make positive changes in your lifestyle. Take a good look at the people telling you to forget it. Where are they in life? Why would you take advice from somebody who is currently where you are, or worse, behind where you are or want to go.

Try this; float some ideas to your friends and relatives. Take careful note of how they react. Identify and relate to the positive influences for your aspirations and don't waste your time with the negative ones.

If I remember correctly, the sky did not fall so why are you listening to the Chicken Littles?
